This lesson provides students the opportunity to explore scientific environmental careers. They will be given their choice of occupational profiles to study where they can gain an understanding of what the job is, education it requires, some examples of where they would work and daily tasks they would have. Students choosing the same profile can pair up (if they want, or choose to work by themselves) to create either a comic strip, painting, video sketch, song or interview on their impression of what a day in the life of their chosen profession would be like. The class can the have a day where they perform their assignment for the class.
This lesson can be used as an extension of Tread Lightly 3.3 - Stepping Forward
