Description

The Kindersite Project (http://www.kindersite.org) today is a highly successful global resource, having received over 17,150 registrations from schools in 150 countries and thousands of parents, in its 3-year history. It focuses on the introduction of technology to very young children. This is achieved by grading rich-multimedia content within a searchable database.

The Kindersite is also being utilized as a resource for the teaching of English as a first and second language and for Special Needs education (Autism, cognitive and learning disorders, Downs syndrome etc.)

Time Required: Unlimited

 

Learning Objectives

Engaging and motivating very young children to WANT to learn English and technology.

Teaching Process

The Kindersite has 2 directories:
One for use by pearents and teachers
One for use by the children independently
